NSF H1 PFPE lubricants

High temperature NSF H1 category PFPE grease

Perfluoropolether fluids (PFPE Oils) are synthetic fully fluorinated materials used as lubricants and coatings in the most extreme & critical lubrication applications. Fluorinated oils and greases offer the ultimate in lubricant performance throughout a wide range of different industries and applications where conventional and other synthetic lubricants are not able to survive.

High temperature NSF H1 category PFPE grease

NSF H1 category PFPE (Perfluoropolyether) greases are specialized, high-performance lubricants designed for use in food, beverage, and pharmaceutical processing equipment where incidental food contact is possible. These greases combine the extreme thermal and chemical resistance of PFPE oils with the safety requirements of NSF H1 registration

NSF H1 type PFPE greases

PFPE (perfluorinated polyether) is a long-chain polymer made up of carbon, oxygen and fluorine. Due to the strong carbon- fluorine bond, the PFPE chain structure is extremely well protected and hence highly inert. This inertness provides excellent high-temperature performance and makes PFPE products extremely useful in the presence of highly reactive chemicals. PFPE are non-flammable and have low toxicity. This supports you in acting responsibly towards the environment, your employees and customers.

FOOD APPROVED—many of our PFPE products are NSF H1 approved for use in the food industry.

Molylub FluorTec H1 grease

Molylub FluorTec H1 is a food grade NSF H1 certified grease based on a synthetic fluorinated oil using a PTFE thickener. It is suitable for extremely high temperature from 180 °C (392 °F) up to 240 °C (464 °F) and/or aggressive environments such as acids/alkalis, vacuum, oxygen etc. Features & benefits :

  • Excellent oxidation resistance
  • Very low evaporation losses at high temperature
  • Good corrosion resistance
  • Long life in aggressive environments such as very reactive areas with a presence of high purity gaseous oxygen and hexane
  • NSF H1 registered

NSF H1 Fluorinated greases and oils are a special type of lubricant for those applications where traditional greases are not usable, due to severe operating conditions. In fact, they are used in presence of high temperatures above 250°C or extremely low temperatures (down to -90°C). These applications requires low volatility, non flammability, oxygen compatibility, or resistance to fuels, solvents, acids and chemicals. Fluorinated lubricants are polymers composed of carbon, fluorine and oxygen. Depending on the polymerization process, they are divided into linear (more performant) and branched, and are the products from grease that have the best compatibility with almost all plastics and elastomers.

Molylub FluorVac 209 vacuum pump fluid

Perfluorinated polyether (PFPE) vacuum pump oil is a synthetic, chemically inert lubricant engineered for high-performance, severe-duty applications, often used in semiconductor processing and environments requiring NSF H1 registration for incidental food contact. These oils are highly stable, non-flammable, and resistant to aggressive gases, acids, and oxygen.

NSF H1 Registered: Many PFPE oils, particularly those used in food/pharma processing, are NSF H1 compliant, meaning they are safe for use where incidental food contact might occur.

  • Chemically Inert: Resistant to oxygen, ozone, nitric oxides, halogens, and acids.
  • Low Vapor Pressure: Excellent for ultra-high vacuum conditions.
  • High Temperature Stability: Operates effectively under extreme temperatures, typically with an operating range from -90°C up to 290°C, depending on the grade.
  • Non-flammable: Offers high reliability in harsh, hazardous, or oxygen-rich environments
