NSF H1 lubricants

Food Grade NSF H1 grease

nsf-h1-grease
NSF H1 category Food Grade grease

NSF H1 lubricants are food-grade lubricants approved for use in food processing environments where incidental food contact may technically occur. They are safe for use in trace amounts (up to 10 ppm) on machinery components like bearings and gears, serving as a preventative safety measure in food production.

Food Industry machinery safe lubricants

Molylub FoodTec series NSF H1 registered products are considered food grade and are acceptable for use as lubricants with incidental food contact. They are typically used on food processing equipment and parts, such as gaskets and seals, where exposure to food is possible. They are not intended for direct contact with food.

These lubricants are safe, non-toxic, and typically odorless/tasteless, used on machinery parts like bearings and gears to prevent contamination. These specialty lubricants must guarantee a smooth manufacturing process, meet the high technical requirements of the machines and be able to keep production efficiency at a constant level. All of this with additional consideration of food safety during the entire production process.

Low temperature NSF H1 category freezer grease

NSF H1 category freezer grease is specialized food-grade lubricant designed for machinery operating in extreme cold, such as spiral freezers, cold storage warehouses, and ice cream manufacturing equipment. These lubricants are NSF H1 registered, meaning they are safe for incidental, technically unavoidable contact with food products (up to 10 ppm). Low-Temperature Performance: Must maintain pumpability and lubricating properties at temperatures well below freezing (e.g., -50°F / -45°C).

NSF H1 lubricants are food grade lubricants used in the food and beverage industry. In this area, very special requirements are placed on the lubricating oils and greases used. In the manufacturing process of food and beverages, contact with the lubricants used can often not be avoided from a technical point of view. Thus, they must be safe to use.

Molylub FoodGear 220 food mixer gear oil

NSF H1 category gear oils are food-grade lubricants authorized for use in food processing environments where incidental food contact may occur. They are designed for gearboxes, conveyor chains, and machinery in meat, dairy, beverage, and pharma industries. These oils must be non-toxic, typically synthetic (PAO), and comply with FDA 21 CFR 178.3570

In addition, the specialty lubricants must guarantee a smooth manufacturing process, meet the high technical requirements of the machines and be able to keep production efficiency at a constant level. All of this with additional consideration of food safety during the entire production process.

Molylub FoodGear series synthetic industrial gear and lubrication fluid with good stability and wear protection. Based on modern Food-Grade PAO in combination with pharmaceutical white oils, it offers good seal compatibility, good corrosion protection and a good wear resistance. It may replace mineral oils in food and pharma industry and therefore represents a step to more safety and cleanness.
