Corrugators contain several rollers which are exposed to extremely high temperatures and operate at quite high speeds. Bearings used in heating, corrugating and pressure rollers require lubrication that can withstand high temperatures and rotational speeds. Wet paper production section lubrication
Wet end paper production (forming/press sections) requires specialized lubrication to handle extreme moisture, high temperatures, and contamination. Water-resistant grease is typically used to lubricate bearings, prevent corrosion, and act as a water-repellent seal. Molylub CorruTec 2 MV corrugator grease is a non-flammable white grease developed from a perfluoroalkyl-polyether-type oil, a micronized PTFE as thickener and an anti-corrosion additive, free of sodium nitrite. It is totally inert physically and chemically in the event of aggression by all kinds of liquid or gaseous products (except for fluorinated solvents) and thermal and ionising radiation.
Molylub CorruTec 2 MV corrugator grease has a special additive system which gives it a high resistance in heavy loads and excellent resistance against wear. The coefficient of friction that is illustrated below in the SRV test is extremely low and stable guaranteeing long term protection of the friction surfaces when lubricated with this grease. This grease has a high mechanical stability and low oil separation characteristics which allows for further increased thermal stability and long-life lubrication properties.
All the raw materials used in the manufacturing process appear in the positive list of the Food and Drugs Administration (FDA) and Molylub CorruTec 2 MV corrugator grease and is registered according to NSF Class H-1 for use in both the Food Food Packaging Industry.
